You know that feeling when you suddenly realize just how much control you have over your life? That rush of excitement? It hit me one day, the moment I fully understood the power of thoughts. It’s absolutely thrilling to know that our thoughts shape the things and events in our lives. Yep, you heard me right—your thoughts are not just random musings. They are the building blocks of your reality.

The best part? It means absolutely anything can happen. Think about that for a second. You decide what you want, and your thoughts can make it happen. It’s both liberating and empowering.

Let Go of the Past

One of the most powerful things I’ve learned is that it doesn’t matter who I was in a past lifetime or even who I was yesterday. It doesn’t matter what kind of guidance I received (or didn’t receive) earlier in life. All those moments are behind me, and today I have the power to create something new, something better.

Maybe there’s something in your life right now that you’re not happy with. Perhaps it’s a relationship, a job, or even how you feel about yourself. Guess what? You can think your way into a new reality. The first step is acknowledging that the power is within you.

Now, I won’t sugarcoat it—this can take time and practice, especially if you’re used to dwelling on what’s not working. But here’s the secret: instead of fixating on the things you don’t want, focus on the new. Think about the changes as if they’ve already happened. The more you dwell on this positive, vibrant future, the more your thoughts will naturally start to shift in that direction.

Speak Your New Reality Into Existence

One of my favorite parts of this practice is speaking about the things I want as if they’ve already happened. For instance, if you’re dreaming of a new job, instead of saying, “I wish I could find a job I love,” try something like, “I’m so grateful for my amazing job that allows me to be creative and happy every day.”

Sounds kind of magical, right? That’s because it is.

This doesn’t mean you’re pretending or lying to yourself. It’s about training your mind to focus on the outcome you want, rather than staying stuck in what isn’t working. Your thoughts and words are so much more powerful than we often realize.
